in Chiang Rai daily puplic boat leaves at 10:30 (120 Bt./90mn) from the pier near the Mae Fa Luang Bridge. From Thaton daily at 12:30 (200 Bt./2hrs.) Privat boats can be hired as well.          

From Chiang Rai just follow the way to the Elephant Village Ban Ruammit. From there go on the same direction another 4 km always along the river. You will see signs to find us.                    

in Thaton a 3-day-tour on a bamboo raft can be arranged either with a one night stop at mydreamguesthouse or with a longer stay, just as you like it.                     

nobody has done it before but why not ? From the Elephant Village we can arrange an Elephant for the 4 km tour. Just mail us. By the way, our family owns an Elephant, so we are experts.    

 Are you sure to go 30 km ? You better talk to us for a trekking tour and we will pick you up free of charge from Chiang Rai. Otherwise just follow the “bike”

Chiang Rai has no railway-connection. Trains from Bangkok only go to Chiang Mai, from where you can take busses to Chiang Rai.                                                    

there are buses from all direction coming to Chiang Rai. 10 hrs from Bangkok for 400 Baht aircon. The bus station is south of Th. Phahonyothin, the center of Chiang Rai.                           

If you drive a car, you have a road-map and will find easily the way to Chiang Rai. From there just take the same way as the “motorcycle” and the “bike”
